SO… WE HAVE BEEN VERY QUIET THIS YEAR
AND THIS IS WHY…
Since our shows with Eliza Doolittle at the end of 2010, we have locked ourselves away in our rehearsal studio, where we are writing and developing our debut album. We are extremely excited about the songs and the sound of this new material.
By far the greatest thing any of us have been part of, the four of us have really put our all into this work. We can’t wait to unveil the results to you all in a few months time.

Writing and life
So we have been locked away in our practice room, handy studio (cheers Nick) and home studios to create a whole batch of new material to unleash on you all. Its been a time where we have been looking at new sounds and styles to infuse into our music. Writing isn’t the easiest of tasks especially having to create twelve plus tracks in one sitting, but we believe it’s going very well.
Trying to get four people to agree is one of the hardest things about the writing process especially when each one has a completely different taste in music, but this seems to be what has created our sound over the past year. We also want these new songs to be perfect so alot of care and attention has gone into every part of every song! We have not been playing any shows due to getting this task completed a.s.a.p. as it would have taken twice as long! but we are looking forward to showcasing some new tunes and recording them very soon.
We would like to thank all our fans on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for the love and support shown to us, keep it flowing and spread the word!

Fresh from a host of national UK tour dates with Eliza Doolittle, we are back in the studio and working hard on material for our debut album – due out in spring next year. Meanwhile, we are releasing a number of brand new singles over the coming weeks, leading up to Christmas, which we are all really excited about.
In other news, we have recently been invited to next year’s Candadian Music Week in Toronto, Canada – see you all there!
10,000 EUR – Online Competition Winnings
Competitions for bands are a fantastic way to increase exposure and reach new audiences; we saw the ‘Sound of Bamboo’ competition on Myspace and thought it was a great opportunity to get our music heard.
Winning the competition out of so many entries across the globe meant a lot to us. It’s great to know that our music is out there, and we’re proud to have the Sound of Bamboo brand champion our track, ‘Saturday Night’ – which is also available to download on iTunes.
